Hello!
My name is Brandon Dement and I’ve been keeping fish since 1997. I started with the basic 10 gallon tank and killed everything for months on end. Then I went to college and when I moved off campus I kept a 29 gallon and killed slightly fewer fish. I graduated school in 2005 and suddenly found myself with both time and money to spend on my tanks, and now I have 2 tanks: a 46 gallon and the 29 gallon I’ve had since college.
I’ve had tanks of just about every type now. I started with the typical community, then moved on to African Cichlids, then South American Cichlids, then a nano reef, I’ve bred German Blue Rams, and now I think I’ve finally found what I’m passionate about: plants.
I started this blog to give back to the aquarium community that I so love, and since I feel like I make any mistake there is at the first opportunity to do so, hopefully this blog may help some people avoid and solve some those problems better than I did.
